LIMIT SET is the is the maximum acceptable electrode impedance;it is adjusted using a linear potentiometer in conjunction with a switch which selects either the 1-10 or 10-100k Ohm range. A NO-GO (hold) will occur should an electrode exceed the LIMIT SET and at this time the offending electrode can be identified and corrected while observing the digital impedance meter; to reset a NO-GO press CONTINUE; to move on to the next electrode press STEP, or if in AUTO auto-step will occur. |

READ TIME sets the IMPEDANCE display-time when in AUTO, however it will hold indefinitely when a NO-GO occurs. READ TIME can be adjusted from 1-5 seconds, the longer times permitting completion of a written log of the readings and the shorter times for a fast-scan to detect only those electrodes that exceed the LIMIT SET point. |
|
TEST SOURCE selects either the pair of front-panel electrode jacks or the sub-D connector at the top-side of the cabinet, which normally receives an E-CAP connector. |
![]() Test loose lead electrodes, or run through an entire E-CAP |
